1. Agreeing to these terms
By opening kindredlife.xyz, reading a wallet with it, connecting a wallet, or calling its API, you agree to these terms and to the disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use Kindred. If you are using Kindred for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. What Kindred is
Kindred reads publicly available blockchain records for a wallet address and describes them in plain language. It summarises transactions, tokens encountered, patterns of activity, and where the record allows it, what a position was built from and what was paid. It can also watch tokens you ask it to watch and tell you when one of its detectors sees something.
Kindred is a reading of a public record. It is not a broker, an exchange, a custodian, a wallet, an adviser, or an accountant, and it does not execute, facilitate, or route any transaction.
3. Who may use it
You must be of legal age to enter a contract where you live, and you must not be barred from using the service under any law that applies to you. You are responsible for whether using Kindred is lawful where you are.
4. Your wallet
Anyone can ask Kindred to read any public address, because that record is already public. Some features, including private notes, saved chapters, watches, and the Keeper’s Report, require you to prove you control an address. You do that by signing a short message. That signature is not a transaction, moves nothing, approves nothing, and costs no fee.
Kindred will never ask for your private key, your seed phrase, or your recovery words, and will never ask you to approve a transaction. Anyone asking you for those in Kindred’s name is not Kindred. The current product has no ability to move assets. Any future transactional feature would require separate, explicit wallet authorization and updated terms.
You are responsible for the security of your wallet and of any device you use to reach the service.
5. What you write, and what you publish
Notes, watches, and saved chapters belong to the wallet that created them and are private to it. You keep ownership of anything you write. By saving it you allow Kindred to store it and show it back to you, and to nobody else unless you choose otherwise.
A memory is private unless you publish it. If you publish one, Kindred creates a link that anyone holding it can open, and the contents of that memory become public for as long as the link exists. Kindred removes the counterparty address from every acquisition before publishing, because that address can connect two wallets to one another. Think before publishing, and do not publish a record that is not yours to publish.
Kindred’s own public record contains no wallet address and no private note. Its counts are published as ranges so that no individual can be identified from them.
6. How you may use Kindred
Use it for yourself, and for reading records you have a legitimate reason to read. Do not:
- use it to harass, profile, dox, or build a dossier on another person;
- attempt to defeat, probe, or work around its privacy protections, its published minimums, its rate limits, or its refusal to say whether it holds a record of anything;
- scrape it, automate it beyond the published limits, or resell access to it;
- present its output as your own analysis to induce someone into a transaction;
- upload anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to write; or
- interfere with the service, its infrastructure, or anybody else’s use of it.
Kindred applies rate limits and daily ceilings. They are part of the service, not an obstacle to be routed around.
7. The data, and how wrong it can be
Kindred reads from third-party blockchain indexers and price sources. Those can lag, go down, rate-limit, return incomplete pages, or be wrong. Token names and symbols are written by whoever deployed the contract and can imitate anything. Complex protocol activity may not map cleanly onto a purchase or a sale.
Kindred states its sources and qualifies what it cannot establish, and it is built to withhold a figure rather than estimate one. It still does not promise that any figure, classification, date, or absence is correct or complete. Verify anything that matters against the public record before you rely on it.
8. Nothing here is advice
Nothing on this site, in the API, in the Keeper’s Report, or in any answer Kindred gives is investment, tax, legal, financial, or accounting advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. Kindred describes what already happened. It does not predict, and it does not tell you what to do. Its output is not a tax record, an audit, or a statement of performance. Use a qualified professional for decisions that need one.
9. The Kindred token
Any reference to a Kindred token is descriptive, not an offer, solicitation, or invitation to acquire anything, and not a promise of any future feature, value, utility, listing, or return. Digital assets are volatile and may lose all of their value. The only contract address that is Kindred’s is 0x14baa3ecbf548c529bcc89d83a959c81e849d220 on Robinhood Chain, as published on this site.
10. Availability, limits, and changes
Kindred is offered as it is and as it happens to be available. It may be slow, interrupted, or withdrawn, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice. Features may change or be removed. Some features are deliberately unavailable until conditions are met, and the product says so where that is the case.
Kindred is currently free to use. It does not take payment, and there is no charge, subscription, or paid tier. If that ever changes, it will be stated here before it applies.
11. Intellectual property
The site, its text, design, artwork, and software are owned by Kindred or used with permission, and are protected by the laws that protect such things. You may read Kindred’s public record and quote it with attribution. You may not copy the site wholesale, remove its qualifications when quoting it, or present its output as though it came from somewhere else.
Blockchain data itself is public and belongs to nobody.
12. Other people’s services
Kindred relies on third parties, including blockchain nodes, indexers, price sources, model providers, hosting, and databases, and links to places it does not run, including block explorers. Kindred is not responsible for them, for their availability, or for what they do with a request. Their terms are theirs.
Kindred is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Robinhood Markets, Inc. or any of its companies.
13. No warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, Kindred is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. No advice or information you get from Kindred creates any warranty not stated here.
Some places do not allow warranties to be excluded. Where that is so, this section applies only as far as it is permitted, and nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be removed.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Kindred and anyone working on it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, nor for any loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, data, or goodwill, however caused, whether or not Kindred was told such loss was possible.
In particular, Kindred is not liable for any decision you make after reading it, for any trade you make or do not make, for any loss on any digital asset, for any error, omission, delay, or absence in the data it reads, or for anything a third-party service does or fails to do.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, the total liability of Kindred to you for all claims connected with the service is limited to one hundred United States dollars, or the amount you paid to use Kindred in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater. Kindred is currently free, so in most cases that amount is nothing.
Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. You cover your own conduct
You agree to cover Kindred against any claim, loss, or cost arising from your use of the service, from anything you publish through it, or from your breach of these terms or of any law.
16. Ending it
You may stop using Kindred at any time, disconnect your wallet, and stop publishing anything you have published. Kindred may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms, or who attacks the service or the people using it. Sections 7 through 15 survive the end of this agreement.
17. Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use Kindred after a change means accepting the changed terms. If a change matters, it will be said plainly rather than buried.
18. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of Kindred, are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and Kindred submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming.
19. Everything else
If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. A failure to enforce something is not a waiver of it. These terms and the disclaimer are the whole agreement between you and Kindred about the service. You may not transfer your rights under them; Kindred may transfer its rights to a successor.
